Th following error message in MS Outlook
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'Adam Hayes', Server: 'greatmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR authorization failed', Port: 1100, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92
indicates one of the following problems in your Outlook setup:
1. Incorrect user name or password - Verify that you are using the correct password and make sure you are using your entire email address as your username: ie adam@greatmail .com and not just adam.
2. Incorrect port number - Make sure that you are connecting to the mail server using the correct port number, generally this is port number 110.
3. The account does not exist. Verify that the email account has been established on the server.
