Generally you should be able to send mail through our servers using Microsoft Outlook's default port setting of 25. If however, you cannot connect to the server through port 25 due to ISP restrictions, you can send through our servers using mail.greatmail.com and port 2500. In Microsoft Outlook Express, you will need to edit your outgoing mail server and the port number as follows: 1. Select Tools/Accounts. 2. Click on the Mail tab, highlight YourAccount and click on the Properties button. 3. Click on the Servers tab. 4. Enter 'mail.greatmail.com' in the outgoing mail (SMTP) field. 5. Click on the Apply button. 6. Click on the Advanced tab. 7. Enter 2500 in the Server Port Numbers Outgoing mail (SMTP) field. 8. Click on the Apply button. Next, configure Outlook to use SMTP authentication using the same settings as your incoming mail server: 1. Select Tools/Accounts. 2. Click on the Mail tab, highlight YourAccount and click on the Properties button. 3. Click on the Servers tab. 4. In the Outgoing Mail Server section, select the checkbox My server requires authentication. 5. Click on the Settings button. 6. Select the option Use same settings as my incoming mail server. 7. Click OK. 7. Click on the Apply button and then click OK.
