How do I ping my domain's MX Record? Can't Post

After you have edited your domain's MX record, you may ping the MX record to verify the status of your change as follows:
1. Go to your Windows Start button.
2. Select Run.
3. Type 'cmd' in the window.
4. Type 'ping smtp.greatmail.com'

where 'smtp.greatmail.com' is your domain's highest priority MX record. If the MX record has taken effect, you should see something like the following:

Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600]

C:\Documents and Settings\Greatmail>ping smtp.greatmail.com
