What are the recommended default settings for SpamAssassin?

We recommend setting the number of points to 4 and having SpamAssassin delete messages found to be spam. If you prefer to have messages delivered, you can take advantage of the subject rewrite feature and create a rule in Microsoft Outlook to handle delivery of these messages at the client level. If you decide to forward spam messages to spam delivery accounts, please be sure to check these mail accounts regularly as they can increase in storage quite quickly.
